sometimes i get sad...
Today I thought I needed to get out of the apartment so I went to the beach by myself for awhile. At first, it was unbearably hot and I actually considered turning around and walking back home. But the thought of sweating another 9 blocks back to our apartment was too much for me to bear. I stuck it out and it began to get more windy and cloudy, so I ended up coming home after about an hour...

just finished reading watchmen
I was completely disappointed. Maybe I’m just not smart enough to fully appreciate the use of multiple storylines going on at the same time, or maybe I’m just a sucker for happy endings and expected good to triumph over evil. I just thought it was kind of a let down. Maybe it was more significant in 1985 when it was written, or maybe I’m just looking for a superhero to act like...
