These photos are what you get when you ask:
Photo 1 - “Beau can you show me your teeth?”
and
Photo 2 - “Beau where is pointer?”
He’s very smart.

I might be legitimately obsessed with this hair donut bun thing I’m wearing in this picture. I’m sure it’s the best hair accessory I’ve ever purchased.
So we have started a routine of doing our weekly grocery run early on Saturday mornings to get it done with.
Beau doesn’t mind riding in the cart as long as he can open the box of animal crackers right as we get them, and then proceed to eat them while in the store. It makes him pretty happy.
Also, he looks like a junior in college who spent all night on the couch playing Halo and eating chips.
This age is so so so fun. I’d like to freeze him here for a bit.
Southey started a new job last week, and after looking over our financial situation coupled with the insane cost of daycare for two children, we decided that it would make more sense for me to leave my job to be home with the babies. Yesterday I gave my notice at work, and it felt amazing. I’m going to continue to work a couple more months - my last day at work will be May 31st, but then I’ll officially be a stay at home mom until the kiddos are in school. It feels really strange to think about leaving the work force for such an extended period of time, but I’ve been really stressed about the idea of juggling work, daycare, and caring for two babies. This just feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. New jobs, new babies, new lives!
